MANUU offers Civil Services coaching for minority candidates

Hyderabad: The Civil Services Examination Coaching Academy of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) has invited applications from minority candidates for Civil Services (Mains) other competitive examinations. The last date for applying is 30th June, 2011.
The Civil Services Examination Coaching Academy of MANUU has been established by Union Ministry of HRD to provide coaching for civil services and other Services for students from Minority groups.
The MANUU-CSE Academy has announced the start of the coaching classes for Civil Services (Mains) and Other Services (Indian Railways, Indian Forest Service, NDS, Judicial Services, etc. The Academy will conduct classes for 4 months to cover the syllabus of Mains Examination. Parallel coaching will be provided for other competitive exams.
Girls and Boys from Minority groups who have already appeared in the Civil Services 2011 Prelims in June are eligible to apply for Mains coaching. For coaching for other services, any qualified Minority student and girls are eligible to apply. Women have special reservation of 40% of the seats. The fee is very nominal. A stipend is available to 20% of the admitted candidates on basis of merit-cum-means.

Change of pattern in mains

The Union Public Service Commission has introduced changes in the pattern of Civil Services (preliminary) examination which is conducted to select candidates for prestigious central services such as IFS, IAS, IRS, IPS and others. Now it is looking forward to bring some changes in the pattern of 'main' examination as well with effect from 2013.A panel has been constituted by UPSC to suggest possible changes in the pattern of Civil Service (main) Examination. Its report is expected to come out early next year.There are three stages in UPSC exam- 'preliminary', 'main' and personality test (interview).
